Livingston Round Table has taken a leap into the future in the way we take monetary donations.
We can now accept new ways for the lovely people of West Lothian to donate to us.
This includes donations via PayPal, our website, contactless card machines, QR code scanning but of course still having our collection buckets with us for good old fashioned cash from those who still prefer this way.
We urge as many people as would like to donate to do so online to minimize the need for cash handling and to help us speed things along so even more kids get to see our Santa than ever before.
We hope that everyone sees the benefits and why we have moved in this direction and we wish all of you a very Merry Christmas.

Livingston Round Table have been working hard to support the community during lockdown, delivering lunches and supplies to those in need.
LRT support other local charities and good causes throughout the year and raise money in lots of ways. Unfortunately we're not able to do the same level of fundraising at the moment but all of these charities still need our help.
We've set up a donations page so that we can still try to raise funds. If you're able to help, we would really appreciate any donations and every donation will go back in to our local community. If you're not able to donate them please do share this page so others can.
Thank you in advance and stay safe.

Santa is not coming down my street?
Due to the size of our Santa Sleigh and the limited space for turning in some streets, we are unable to get down every street in Livingston, but we will hopefully be passing every street end so come out and give us a wave.
Can I take a photo of Santa?
Yes, Absolutely! But we must stress that there will be limited time along the route, we will be driving very slowly but we won’t be stopping at every street and unfortunately Santa will not be getting off the sleigh to meet his fans.
Feel free to come to your window, door or driveway to give a wave and take a social distanced photo of Santa. The sleigh will be in constant motion but at a low speed to get a clear photo.
What is the Santa Tracker?
Each night as we leave the start point, we will Turn On our Santa Tracker so you can check his progress along the Route. This is in case we have a cold or wet night you can follow Santa round and come to your window, door or Driveway to give Santa a wave. Should you exit the house we would advise wrapping up in warm clothing.
At what times can we expect to see Santa?
Each route is different but we will be posting updates on our Facebook Page to keep you all updated. To avoid missing Santa passing by, its best to follow Santa and his sleigh via our Facebook Page
Why can't Santa appear earlier/later?
The Livingston Round Table Santa Sleigh is run entirely by VOLUNTEERS, all of whom have full-time jobs and families, meaning we cannot get out earlier on weekdays. The sleigh is also at its best when it’s in the dark.
The Santa Sleigh is aimed at younger children who need their sleep, and many of whom will have school the following day, which is why Santa disappears at the time he does.
Will Santa be out regardless of the weather?
Santa will always try and get out regardless of the weather (even if it means him and his elves get soaked). However, Rudolph may in exceptional circumstances have to cancel Santa's Sleigh going out due to:
* Ice on the road,
* Snow blocking roads,
* Torrential and prolonged rainfall.
If its unsafe for Santa, his elves, the sleigh or members of the public to be out in extreme conditions then we will update you via our social media. We will try our upmost to return to the cancelled route where possible.
We missed Santa on our route!
If you miss Santa, we are sorry. However, he will be back on December 24th overnight to deliver presents to all the boys and girls of the town.
Can I ask for a personal visit from Santa with Livingston Round Table?
You can ask but the answer will be No. We will be adhering to social distancing guidelines and we will only be taking Santa out on the Santa Sleigh to wave at his fans.
Who runs the Livingston Round Table Santa Sleigh?
The Livingston Round Table Santa Sleigh is run entirely by Volunteer members of Livingston Round Table, affiliated to the National Association of Round Tables. All members give up their time voluntarily to organise and run the sleigh throughout December.
How can I find out more about Round Table?
